Police investigate suspicious driveway fire near 2nd Street South and 3rd Street South

Firefighters arrived to the shooting scene at around 5:15 p.m. but no one was injured, officials said.

A neighbor says she heard shooting followed by panic as she pulled her car out of a driveway where her daughter lived. A man and a woman were inside in the driveway, and fire officials said they were not injured.

Officials say they are not aware of any other shootings in South Carolina this year.

Woomera will be reopened if needed ruddock

SANDY SPRINGS, Ariz. -- A fire in a gas station in Sandusky, Ohio, forced evacuation of about 150 customers.

Firefighters from Poudreville and Sandusky fire departments have been working to rescue customers who had to be evacuated from the RUDDOCK gas station in Woomera, just northwest of Sandusky on Interstate 29.

The fire broke out just after 5 p.m. at a gas station owned by RUDDOCK Gas Corporation. Firefighters used an EMT-equipped truck to drag customers out. An EMT also helped put water on fire fighters' heads. The gas station was shut down and will be reopened on Friday after an overnight repair.

The state Office of Emergency Management tweeted that the gas station will reopen Friday evening. Woomera has about 16 gas stations.
